Williams, Ms Alison (Little Learners)

Hi my name is Alison and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder at Little Learners. I have a BA Degree in early years and a city and guilds Level 4 in Special Educational Needs and Disability. I have over 20 years experience with children 3 months - 11 years old. I have a passion for working with children and watching them thrive through learning and development. As the first five years in a child's life are the most important, I feel it's an important factor to build positive relationships with the children and parents by working in partnership to give your child the best possible start in life. I provide a safe, caring and learning environment both emotionally and academically. I have a wide variety of resources for all ages of children which will enhance their learning. I take the children out into the local community visiting children's centres, parks, beaches, libraries. I observe and assess children and track their development to ensure each child is achieving to their maximum potential. Each child will have their individual learning journey. This will include - observations, assessments and tracking. All learning journeys will be shared with parents/carers and parents are encouraged to be involved within their child's learning journey. Over 8s - Additional Facilities Provided Support and help with homework - a separate room A dining room table to eat meals/complete homework/play games Large outdoor garden for physical play such as football, ball games Outings - Moors Valley, woodland walks, swimming, beach, parks
