Information for families in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole

Volunteering at BCP Council Family Hubs

Across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole there are nine family hubs and two outreach centres (formerly called children's centres).

Family hubs are based in central locations and cover a reach area to support all families that need early help services, ensuring that families get the right help at the right time. Any family can contact us and we’ll signpost to appropriate support.

The hubs are welcoming and friendly centres and we are looking for volunteers to support our families and our programmes. If you are thinking about returning to work, or considering a career working with children or would just like to volunteer some of your time, please do come along to one of our information sessions and find out more.
