Christchurch Traditional Weekly Street Market

Christchurch Traditional Weekly Street Market logo

This bustling classic street market has been in the heart of this Saxon Market Town in the Dorset tourist area for more than a hundred years and is still the largest regular weekly street market in the South of England.

For the last 15 years SMT have set up the stalls from the Priory roundabout, all along the High Street to the Fountain roundabout.

Open 52 weeks of the year it is a destination venue for locals from Christchurch and the surrounding farms and villages and a popular day out for the many tourists to the area.

Choc-a-bloc with very loyal local traders, the market boasts a wide range of stalls from fast food to fashion and fresh fish, from local produce to books and household goods and all manner of traditional and quirky goods in between.

You can join us for a jolly day out, or if you have produce that you would like to sell, follow the link to see our Trader Pages for joining instructions. We'd love to hear from you.
