In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. Based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, and Disney's classic animated feature, 'The Little Mermaid' is a beautiful love story for all ages and is coming to The Regent!

Featuring classic music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, this production will capture your imagination with such classics as 'Part of Your World', 'Kiss The Girl' and of course, that toe-tapping classic, 'Under The Sea'.Bournemouth Musical Theatre are excited to return to The Regent stage with their tenth full scale production, after their best-selling production of 'Shrek The Musical' in 2023, and previous productions that have included 'The Wizard Of Oz', 'Oliver!' and 'Spamalot' .

This time they are bringing with them a cast of colourful characters that you know and love, including Ariel, King Triton, Flounder and Sebastian, not to mention the evil sea-witch Ursula.This production promises to immerse its audience deep beneath the waves and take them on a magical journey like no other!
