This is a large park with sports pitches, woodland, gardens and lowland heath. This recreation ground is licensed for you to hire for outdoor events.
The park is great for Cricket, bowls, children's play area, mature woodland with a footpath leading to a war memorial, a view over Poole.
There is a small car park on site near the bowling green, which is locked overnight. You can also use the pay and display car park in Story Lane.
Dogs are allowed in the recreation ground except for within the fenced play area.
