Flaghead Chine is a wide, sandy beach, sloping gently to the sea perfect if you want to get away from the crowds. Although there are fewer facilities, there is something unspoilt about Flaghead Chine that makes it extra special.

We have the following facilities available:

• drinking water
• public toilets (these are closed during winter)
• ice cream kiosk

You can access Flaghead Chine beach by ramp. Contact Sandbanks beach office to find out about our all-terrain beach wheelchairs you can hire with 24 hours' notice.

We have a number of beach huts available for both short term hire and annual hire.

Dogs are not allowed on Flaghead Chine beach from 1 May to 30 September every year. Dogs are allowed on all Poole beaches from 1 October to 30 April every year. Always keep dogs on a lead on the promenade. 

There is no designated area for barbecues at Flaghead Chine. You can have a barbecue on most Poole beaches, but you should read the beach barbecue and parties guide before you plan one.

There is parking available at Haven Road (on-street), 18 spaces.

Flaghead Chine has Blue Flag status.
