Poole Parks offers a beautiful and busy outdoor space, with something for everyone. Poole Park lake is at the centre and is surrounded by facilities such as tennis courts, a bowling green, children's indoor and outdoor play areas, Poole Park railway and the fitness trail.  
The play area located in the park boasts a a large climbing frame with a long slide situated on top of a banked area, a separate cabin slide, junior and cradle swings, a small wide slide aimed at younger children, a four seat "buck-about" springer and a pair of talk tubes.
Local company Rockley Watersports operate their boating experience, Rockley at Poole Park. From their purpose built boat-house, you can now hire a variety of equipment, ranging from a pedalo to a sailing dinghy to try out on Poole Park Lake.
The fitness trail boasts seven fitness stations with differing exercise options to aid a healthy active lifestyle. These are linked up by the path around the lake which is perfect for running on between the exercises.
There are four main access roads into the park, The west gate is in Kingland Road, the east gate is on the corner of Sandbanks Road and Parkstone Road, and the other gate is at the Twemlow Avenue end of Whitecliff Road. There is also a small car park at the end of Copse Close.
