With 5 years of experience in an outstanding Montessori nursery I am excited to start a new adventure in childminding in my home. The setting is design following the Montessori classrooms as Practical life with activities to promote child's independence, fine and gross motor skills and taking care of the environment and others. Sensorial area with sensory box and relaxing time music and different activities based on our 5 senses: smelling bottles, touch boards ,musical instruments,cooking and matching colours . Language area to develop their communication skills , phonetics, mystery bag , tracing ,colouring books and role play. Cognitive activities as puzzles , games , building , matching and sorting , quantities and symbols. Cultural area with festivals around the world, grace and courtesy in different languages , geography, biology, science .Outdoor activities as watching birds, gardening, insects, sand pit, scrubbing, sweeping, walking ,taking care of pets. The environment is prepared to develop children's independence, express their preferences and having choices, diversity ,curiosity, feelings and making friends.
