I am a level 3 qualified Early Years Educator, Paediatric trained and a Level 4 qualified Montessori Directress. I am a British national of Kenyan heritage and I am Tri-Lingual. I have a passion for Child Development and an avid Montessori enthusiast. I strongly believe that the early years of a child are the most important and that during these years, a child has an absorbent mind that soaks in many lessons around her. I believe that through observation we should look out for sensitive periods (Schemas) and introduce materials and activities that will fulfil these needs to learn. I believe that through role modelling and lessons of grace and courtesy, children learn to be kind and empathetic, through cultural lessons and British Values, children learn to appreciate each other and especially other's differences. Practical Life lessons and activities prepare the child for life in every aspect be it care of self, care of animals or care of the world around us. Our sensorial area refines and develops senses, Maths and Language areas develop literacy and prepares children for school. I work in conjunction with the EYFS
