Information for families in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole

McCann, Ms Kayleigh Tina Kathleen

Hi, My name is Kay I live in Boscombe with my wife Gabby and our son Lochie who was born in February 2024. I met my wife while we were both working on a kids summer camp in America which we went onto run for 5 years. When we decided to start a family we settled into our home in Boscombe and I worked nannying for a family that I have worked with for extended periods of time over the years. I love the outdoors and we spend a lot of our time at the beach or hiking in the purbecks. I am fun, hard working and reliable. My mission at KayCare is to provide conscious childcare through fostering curiosity and development in children. KayCare is a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. From carefully curated toys that spark your kids imagination to well thought-out locations that encourage exploration, the smallest things can often make the biggest impact. KayCare offers a unique opportunity by providing a childminding environment that prioritises nature-based learning. I incorporate outdoor adventures and environmental education into daily activities, fostering a sense of wonder and appreciation for nature. My goal is to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and families, ensuring a supportive partnership in each child's journey of growth. Our home is walking distance from the beach, multiple parks, shops, the library & children''s centre. Our home has a lovely open plan playroom which provides a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages. We also have a enclosed garden with ride on toys, a mud kitchen and much more. We have an abundance of toys for the children to explore and play with. As well as lots of fun at home we will have daily adventures outside exploring the local area.
