Information for families in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole

Robinson, Mrs Susan Lesley

I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder based in a quiet cul de sac in Canford Heath, Poole. I have 2 grown up children of my own. My son is 33 and has left home and my daughter is 27 and lives at home. I have been childminding for 32 years and offer a safe, home based environment where children can learn and develop through play and other activities. We attend Children's Centres, Childminding toddler groups and Childminding events where the children can engage and interact with other children. We make full use of the local area, going for frequent walks across the nearby heathland area and visiting other sites such as parks, country parks, farm, beach, play areas etc. I have training certificates including NVQ3 (Children's Care, Learning and Development) DCP Developing Childminding Practice, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children, Behaviour Management, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and more. I am able to accept the Government funding for babies from the term after they turn 9 months and 2/3 year old children (15 hours universal funding/30 hours for eligible families). References from parents are available for you to view.
