Our Early Years Foundation Stage, comprising of Kindergarten and Reception, is housed in large, ground floor rooms in the Pre-Prep buildings.Offering excellent adult/pupil ratios, the children really do have the best of starts.Each class is led by a fully qualified teacher, assisted by qualified teaching assistants.  If they join in Kindergarten when they are 3+ then we offer flexible days to suit the needs of the parents. All our Kindergarten pupils attend for a minimum of three mornings from 8.00am-1.15 pm but, with the flexibility of our before and after school sessions they can do anything from just three mornings through to five full days. The children progress to Reception where they attend full time 8.40-3.30, but, like every other part of the school, they can also use the extended care before and after school. Our Early Years Foundation Stage follow the Early Learning guidelines and the children are assessed against the Early Years Foundation Stage profile throughout.
