The Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service offers assessment, differential diagnosis, intervention/ treatment and management for children and young people experiencing difficulties in speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders. We support to reduce the impact of these difficulties on the child's wellbeing and their ability to achieve their full potential.

The service is available throughout Dorset and is part of The Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.

We are continuing to offer a service to families who are happy/able to engage with us via telephone or attend anywhere and are accepting new referrals as normal. Our current service offer is available on the website.
