Dorset Bladder and Bowel Continence Service - Dorset Healthcare NHS

Dorset Bladder and Bowel Continence Service - Dorset Healthcare NHS logo

Our nurse-led service provides support to people across Dorset with bladder and bowel problems.

We offer telephone advice and support to parents and carers of children aged 4 to 19 years old with continence problems. Depending on the circumstances, we are able to offer support and advice to younger children. Children's bladder and bowel problems will be assessed on an individual basis by our nurse. There are links with schools, paediatricians and other agencies involved in child health.

Adults aged 19 to 25 are seen in clinics across Dorset. Most of our clinics are run in GP surgeries, community clinics or hospital outpatients at various sites through the county (facilities vary from site to site).
