We supply the provision of orthotic devices to support joints, alleviate pain, protect, prevent spasticity, or to obtain optimum positioning to allow increased function. Prosthetic limbs help promote independence, mobility, and function and facilitate inclusion in activities of daily living, leisure and work activities.

We also provide provision of environmental controls to allow children with extremely limited function to control their Home environment using new technology. The team consists of a Consultant, Nurse, Prosthetists (who make the limbs supported by skilled Prosthetic Technicians) Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and a Counsellor.

The team is supported by experienced administration staff. We offer prosthetics to patients in Dorset, West Hampshire and South Wiltshire, also anyone under care of NHS England Orthotics in East Dorset and West Hampshire and environmental controls to service users from Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Referral is via GP only.
