Lytchett Minster is a very successful and popular comprehensive school with a large and thriving sixth form. We have recently been judged to be &lsquogood' by OFSTED (May 2017).

Our aim at Lytchett is to enable all students to lead successful, responsible, active, happy and fulfilling lives extending into Sixth Form. We do this by providing a combination of level 2, level 3 and A Level courses which help to best support the needs and abilities of our students. We also provide guidance for students post school through a tailored tutor programme and various resources such as Unifrog and a dedicated careers adviser.

We have an excellent and highly motivated Sixth Form team and teaching staff who are totally committed to their students and are passionate about their subjects. The quality of teaching and learning is demonstrated by our excellent exam results, where our A level and BTEC Level 3 results compare favourably with the best in the country.
