We are the first point of contact for information about home to school transport for families living in BCP Council.

Transport assistance is provided for pupils living within the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area who meet eligibility criteria. Click here for further information.

Costs:
Majority of services are provided free where there is an entitlement under policy. Some transport services attract a charge, although a parent?s income is taken into account when considering whether or not to apply the charge.

SEND Local Offer SEND
Description:

We provide transport assistance for children and young people with SEN or Disabilities up to age 25, where they meet the eligibility criteria. This transport is provided free for most families, but some will be asked to make a contribution towards the cost. The transport provision will be tailored to the needs of the young person.

Customers can contact us by email. They can also visit us in person. To apply for Free School Meals or transport assistance, an application form must be completed - we can help with this if needed. Application forms can be sent out on request or downloaded.

The service is limited by age (up to age 25) and no transition is available after that.
