Read Easy is a not-for-profit organisation that recruits, trains and supports volunteers to give one-to-one tuition to adults who struggle with reading.

Working through community-based volunteer groups, Read Easy offers a free, friendly, flexible approach to learning to read for any adult who either can't read at all, or who lacks confidence with reading. Its success is founded on a one-to-one approach using the highly effective, phonics-based reading manual 'Yes we can read', and gives people the opportunity to work in private and at their own pace.  It builds reading skills, confidence and self-esteem.

On completion of the Yes we can read manual, Read Easy also offers a secondary stage of literacy support to help new readers to consolidate their skills and give them the confidence to move on to other opportunities.

The Poole Branch has been established for two years and has already helped many people in Poole fulfill their personal goals.
