The cost will vary according to the age of your child, the hours and type of setting they attend. If your child is aged 2 years you may be eligible for 15 hours funded childcare. All 3 and 4 year old children can have 15 hours funded childcare and many working parents can access 30 hours funded childcare all of which impacts on the cost.
Some childcare providers may charge for additional services on top of their hourly rate, whereas some may include additional services within their costs. Each type of childcare provider will have their own process for deposits. It is usually refunded to you at the beginning of the arrangement by being deducted from the start of your fees. If you do not take up the place, the deposit is not usually returned.
