Our mission is empowering people with learning disabilities to be independent, have their voices heard and to be included in community life.
We are a user led charity, run and led by people with learning disabilities, with support from staff and volunteers. We develop self-advocacy skills in three stages - coming together to make friends, learning to speak up and leading change.
People First Dorset works specifically to support people with Learning Disabilities, ensuring they are treated equally, listened to and included in community life.
