Support for children aged 0-25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

SEND surveys

The SEND annual survey is for families in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area who access special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) support, either at SEND support level or through an education, health, and care plan (EHCPEHCPA legal document that describes a child or young person's special educational, health and social care needs. It explains the extra help that will be given to meet those needs and how that help will support the child or young person to achieve what they want to in their life.).

It asks parents, carers, children and young people who access support for SEND to feedback their views on the services they receive. Two surveys (one for children and young people, and one for parents and carers) were created in partnership with parents, carers and partners from other organisations. Thank you to Parent Carers Together, Parent Carer Foundation, SWAN UK, SENDiass4BCP and NHS Dorset.

The survey is an opportunity to hear about your experiences of SEND support, whether in school, college, healthcare or in the community. Your feedback is used to help us improve and develop SEND services across education, health and care and shape our services around the people we are here to support.
