This is a fenced play area on the seafront at Hamworthy Park which has equipment for children of all ages. We have a large paddling pool with water features that is open from May until September.

In the play area for younger children (up to 8 years) we have: 

• springy rockers
• a small slide
• cradle swings
• a mini climbing wall.

In the adventure play area for older children (up to 14 years), we have:

• a large climbing frame
• hexagonal swings for up to six users at a time
• a buddy swing
• a springy see-saw
• a hip-hop gyrospiral
• a supernova ring
• an aeroskate skateboard simulator
• a cableway zipwire
• a rodeo board
• a rocking surf board
• a cat's tail swinging pole
• a sky surfer
• climbing poles

Other play equipment includes: 

• a rebound wall with skills panel
• a cricket wicket 
• a basketball hoop

Dogs are not allowed in the play areas or paddling pool. 

There’s limited parking on roads near the park and a pay and display car park on Lulworth Avenue which is locked overnight.

There are toilets near the cafe and paddling pool.
