Church Cherubs at The Beacon Church

Church Cherubs at The Beacon Church logo

At Church Cherubs we aim to provide a place for all those who care for children. Whether you are parents, grandparents or carers, come and have a coffee and a chat knowing that your little ones are safe and having fun. During the morning there is tea/coffee/hot chocolate for the grown-ups while your little ones play.

There is a different selection of toys out each week, which can include: kitchen, shop, bricks, soft play, train track, ride-ons, slide, trampoline, puzzles, little people, books, and dressing up. We always have an area for the very little ones in your care with cosy mats and blankets and toys for small hands. We also have a baby swing and a jumperoo to make the baby area complete.

Our usual morning looks something like this: 10am – 11am: Registration and free play, grab a drink, have a chat and watch your little ones play 11am: time to tidy up and for the children to have a drink and a snack 11:15am: Time for some singing all together – hopefully nursery rhymes and songs you will all know.

We meet in the Beacon Church Centre (using the entrance off of the Iceland Car park) each Monday during term time. Occasionally this varies to give us the chance to clean the toys etc, so do follow our Church Facebook page to be sure you’re kept up to date. It’s a great opportunity to come, check us out, find out if it is somewhere you would like to be, with no obligation or cost. If the cost is a problem however, please do talk to one of the team, as we would always rather have your company than your money.
