It's free to join at any Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole library. You just need proof of your address or if under 16 a parent or carer needs to be your guarantor.

Joining, borrowing books, reserving children's books, using the computers and all children's activities are free!

Once you have joined our library service, you can visit your local library and borrow up to 20 items for three weeksks and 10 eBooks. You can borrow eAudio books and eBooks online. You can also find and reserve physical library items online, which you can then pick up from the library.

If your items are overdue, you might have to pay a charge. Some rentals and reservations might also have a charge. Check our list of hire charges and late fees for more information.

You can renew library items to stop charges increasing.
