Yuletide Living History Event at the Red House Museum

Yuletide Living History Event at the Red House Museum logo

Herigeas Hundas are a group of seasoned re-enactors with a passion for Migration period history within the late 4th century to early 7th century Anglo-Saxon age.

The group are 'invading' the Red House Museum this festive season to bring to life ancient yuletide customs. They will be transforming our Main Gallery into an Anglo Saxon feasting hall ready to welcome in the Holly King and Ivy Queen.

This will be a unique event for the whole family, with an exploration of warrior combat and domestic life in the Anglo-Saxon period, through demonstrations, talks, storytelling, crafts, music and more.

It promises to be a very special, and magical event!
