Are you 16 to 25 years old and looking for work experience in an environmental role, something to add to your CV, or a career change to a green job?
The Parks Foundation are delivering free sessions for young adults, teaching green skills in parks across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole, no prior experience needed. With varied sessions available, develop a range of skills at our different events.
In this session, you will be creating, repairing, and restoring habitats for our local wildlife. Due to habitat loss, many animals need support in finding somewhere safe to rest. From bird and bat boxes to bug hotels and hibernaculums, learn how we can help wildlife thrive in urban areas. If applicable, you will be taught how to safely use various hand and power tools, and different techniques to do so.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
