Creative Kids runs an Award-Winning Holiday Arts Club throughout the national school holidays. Children explore a wide range of combined arts activities such as drama, dance, puppetry, film, photography, music, storytelling, craft and experiment with different artistic techniques such as oils, watercolours, inks, spray cans, clay and charcoals.
We use iPads in sessions to explore digital media and have a projector with an apple TV to share work created within the group. In the summer we often take local trips out to explore art in nature. The day is broken into workshops where visiting artists inspire the children to explore their creativity. The project is great fun, kids make new friends and build in confidence as budding artists.
Children will need to bring all weather clothes, a packed lunch (in a cool box) and water. Our Kid’s Club is suitable for children age 6 – 14 only. The system will not allow you to book if they are outside the age limit. We will ask for I.D to confirm age if we think the child does not meet the criteria. This is a legal requirement.
Do you get Free School Meals or are struggling to make ends meet?We have now been awarded from BCP Council 2024 Grant funding for Easter, Summer and Winter under the HAF (Holiday Activities & Food) Program. We have also received additional funding from The Valentines Trust to extend half days to full days (8am – 6pm). This includes breakfast and a healthy lunch.
To apply please TEXT the full name of your Child, DOB and Postcode with the heading HAF Apply to 07974 543 899 and we will check if you are eligible on the BCP system. We will then ask you to register online and complete your personal information, but not to pay for membership. We will cover this cost of this £10 fee per child and then you can go ahead and book the days you need, once we are awarded funding.
