The ground is great for windy walks along the harbour, flying a kite or community events. There's also a public slipway at the ground.
There are two pay and display car parks at Baiter Recreation Ground, Harbourside 1 and Harbourside 2.
You can reach the ground from Catalina Drive or Labrador Drive.
Dogs are allowed in the open space except within the fenced play area.
There’s a refreshment stand at Baiter Recreation Ground.
There’s a skate park and space for flying kites.
The ground has a fitness station.
