An area of heathland nature reserve bordered by Bourne stream.

Bourne Valley Park and the adjoining Bourne Valley Site of Special Scientific Interest cover over 57ha.

The park is great for long scenic walks and spotting wildlife in the ponds and streams.

You can get to the park from Evering Avenue. Some paths are steep in the park and some are unsurfaced.

Dogs are allowed in the park.

The park’s children's play area has:

  • spring rocker
  • spider's web climbing frames
  • buddy swing
  • long swing
  • zipwire
  • wheelchair friendly roundabout
  • wheeled play area for scooters, skateboards and roller blades.

The park is part of the Canford Heath to Bournemouth seafront greenway cycle route.
