Lake Pier

Lake Pier logo

Lake Drive Pier is an inner harbour beach. The area also includes Ham Common Nature Reserve and Special Site of Scientific Interest.

There are beach guidelines to follow so that everyone can enjoy Poole's beaches.

From 1 May to 30 September, dogs are not allowed on Blue Flag beaches and must be kept on a lead on the promenade, paths and zig zags at all times. Find other year-round dog friendly beaches and remember to pick up after your dog.

Barbecues are not permitted on Lake Pier beach at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to light a barbeque.

Please help us to protect the nearby fragile heathland ecosystems by adhering to this rule.

Open fires are not permitted on any of our beaches at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to light an open fire.

Camping is not permitted on any of our beaches at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to camp anywhere along the seafront.
