Queen's Park

Queen's Park logo

A Green Flag park and golf course in the heart of Bournemouth.

Queens Park takes you through a range of woodland, a golf course and informal green spaces.

The park is managed in partnership with the Queens Park Improvement and Protection Society, who organise events and help us maintain the area.

There’s a modern playground, built using natural materials, with safe climbing, swings and slides. And, with a café and plenty of seating for children and adults, families can stay and play all day.

The park has plenty of parking and public toilets with accessible facilities in the pavilion building. Queens Park also has a rifle range.

To make the most of your visit, we have a leaflet with information on the park's trails and wildlife. You can also find out more about the history of Queens Park.

Open daily, the Woodpecker Cafe has a licensed bar and offers a wide range of drinks, meals and snacks.

As we own and operate the café, the money you spend here will go towards improving our parks and gardens.

Queen's Park is home to Queens Park Golf Course - an ex-championship course open to the public for pay and play.

Head towards Charminster and following signs to Queens Park Golf Course. There are entrances to the park on all sides. Get directions to Queens Park.
