After School Clubs

After School Clubs provide care and offer children a safe, stimulating environment in which to take part in a range of activities.

They typically cater for children aged 5 to 14 years. Children under 8 must be escorted to and from clubs by a scheme worker, parent or other person nominated by the parent.

Some clubs are run by private organisations and are registered with Ofsted. Others are run by schools and are covered by their school registration. Visit Ofsted.gov.uk for inspection reports.
