I became a registered childminder in 2015 but didn’t start caring for children as a childminder until 2017 because before that I was a nanny for 9 years back in Surrey before relocating to Christchurch when I left my nanny family while on maternity leave with my 2nd child. I first started child care when I was 17 years old working in a private nursery where I trained to get my NVQ level 2 and 3 Early Years Care and Education. I worked in 2 different nursery’s from the age of 17 to 26 where I then went onto work for my nannying family’s. As a childminder I offer a home from home setting and enjoy taking the children on daily outings and love seeing all children thrive through play. We enjoy arts and crafts and all children have a say and choice in what they would like to take part in. All children learn respect and how to treat each other. I care for all children like I do my own children and give a lot of love and attention.
