Mini Badgers Childminding opened in September 2020 and we have continued to grow with my Husband Simon now onboard as my assistant. I firmly believe that children should be able to explore our outdoor environment as much as possible. Immersion in nature has so many benefits for children's development; teaching them to care about the environment; helping them sleep better at night; developing their motor skills; and encouraging a healthy life style. To facilitate these, we will be doing regular trips to nature reserves, parks, beaches and forest areas. At home I have a dedicated play space for the children, packed with a variety of toys, arts and crafts, and books. I also have a back garden with garden toys, sand and water play, slides, trees and an area to grow fruit and vegetables. We work closely with other, local childminders so your children benefit from both a smaller bubble groups within a home-from-home setting. I am passionate about my job and love being able to help children explore, play, learn and guide them to their full potential. My qualifications include: BA Hons in Professional Practice in the Early years, Level 5 Early Years Degree Level 3 Safeguarding Training, Full Pediatric First Aid Training, Food Hygiene Training, Cache Childminders Course, Forest School Training, Senco Training I also attend regular training courses to allow me to continue to develop my knowledge and remain up to date with current legislation and any changes.
