 Relate Bournemouth - School Counselling Sessions

We are offering counselling sessions in schools (both primary and secondary) to children, young people and their families. Counsellors can attend sessions in a neutral space within school grounds, or can alternatively book late afternoon sessions at our centre in Bournemouth.

In the first instance we offer an assessment to help determine whether individual or family counselling would be appropriate and whether we are the right service. We review progress after 6 weeks. We offer counselling for any issue and our counsellors are fully trained to support 5-18 year olds.

We are also offering training to separating parents to support children going through changes and helping them adapt.

Initially, we offer a one hour session with each parent individually. Afterwards we can provide family therapy.
