Welcome to Home-Start Wessex. Offering friendship and support to local families. Home-Start Wessex is now the UK's leading family support charity offering friendship and informal support to parents with young children, in local communities throughout the UK, so that every child can have a good start in life.

We help local families with children under 5 who are experiencing difficulties.

We also offer a volunteer service to support families (2-3 hours) per week or refer them to one of our family groups. Families can refer themselves or ask a health professional to refer them.

At Home-Start Wessex we have now extended our telephone and online support with a fully trained volunteer to families with children under 5.
