On behalf of the staff and children I would like to welcome you to St. Walburga's Catholic Primary School. If this is your first contact with the school we hope that this will be the beginning of a very happy and rewarding time for you and your child. If you already have a son or daughter at the school we are pleased to renew and extend our acquaintance.

The education of your child will be much enhanced if we can work together to reinforce and implement the aims of the school as set out in our Mission Statement. As a Catholic School, the basic religious ethos is to be found across the whole curriculum and in all aspects of the life of the school. The primary aim of the school is the Christian growth of the children, not simply the growth of their own faith, but their growing awareness of the world as a maturing Christian. Celebration of our faith through prayer and worship is at the centre of the life of the school and, whenever possible, parents are encouraged to join us.
