Livingstone Academy Bournemouth is a brand new all-through school that will combine excellent education with an innovative skills development programme, ensuring students from 4 to 18 have the skills and qualifications they need to succeed. 

Livingstone Academy Bournemouth will open in September 2021. Initially, there will be 150 places for Year 7 pupils and 30 places for Reception children.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) are subjects that are critical for success in the 21st century. The curriculum will be designed around these subjects and will also focus on applying the knowledge learned in these subjects on real-world assignments.

There will be a great emphasis on learning alongside employers so that young people on leaving Livingstone Academy will be ready to thrive in their chosen field of study and career.

In a world that has become exponentially reliant on technology, it is important that all young people not only know how to consume technology, but are given the knowledge, insight and the relevant skills to create their own technology.

At Livingstone Academy Bournemouth, young people will experience a very different type of education, centred on the development of knowledge and skills, delivered through a partnership with the Academy and the digital industry.
