Beating Exam Anxiety Together (BEAT) course

Beating Exam Anxiety Together (BEAT) is a six-week course aimed at Year 10 and 11 students who have increased anxiety around tests and exams that may be hindering their performance. It is a weekly group based course taught in school by an Educational PsychologistEducational Psychologist Educational Psychologists use psychology to support the development, learning and behaviour of children and young people. They work in collaboration with parents and carers, teachers and other professionals.   alongside a school professional, such as a teacher or teaching assistant. The course aims to help students, both in terms of understanding their feelings of stress and anxiety and how to manage these feelings in a way that can be helpful in the preparation for exams.
