Midwives
Our midwives will continue to support you during the first 28 days of your baby's birth. If you need any support from them during this time, please contact: Labourline (Maternity Advice Line) 0300 369 0388.
Health visiting team
After you leave your midwife, you and your baby's care will be passed to your local health visiting team. They work with families, early years and other health colleagues and agencies to support the health and well-being of pre-school children across Dorset. They will provide you with information, advice and support including parenting support, health and developmental reviews, immunisation details and the physical and emotional wellbeing of children.
