Care Act

The Care Act is mainly for adults in need of care and support, and their adult carers. There are some provisions for the transition of children in need of care and support, parent carers of children in need of care and support, and young carers. However the main provisions for these groups (before transition) are in the Children and Families Act 2014Children and Families Act 2014The act came into force on 1st September 2014. Part 3 of the Act sets out the law on Special Educational Needs and Disability. The Act is supported by the SEND Regulations 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice: 0 – 25 Years..
